Kundalini tools

top10-kundalini-tools

The top 10 most powerful and effective tools / methods for kundalini awakening and development coincides with the top 10 most powerful and effective tools for self-realization, God realization and eventually enlightenment (rainbow body state).

This list came into being after decades of meditation and spiritual research and meeting almost all the spiritual masters on this website. The starting point of this research was simple and direct - an intense longing for finding the truth and finding the fastest path towards it.

The question I asked was, who reached the highest state attainable in spirituality ?
This was not so easy as I hoped and through the forest over time I started to find the trees. Each religion and spiritual movement has their masters, like Jesus, Osho, Bhagavan, Karmapa etc. Looking more closely you start to find similarities and you quickly realize that all these masters describe one and the same state called self-realization or God-realisation and the best being Ramana Maharshi and one of his students, Robert Adams (Sedona, USA) and so he became my root teacher.

Robert Adams

Over the years of practicing self-inquiry, I encountered many masters and visited India multiple times. I discovered that satsangs and darshans (meeting spiritual masters and receiving their blessings) are powerful and effective methods for accelerating self-inquiry. A profound darshan (or Diksha) can save months, if not more, of meditation time.

After about seven years of self-inquiry, along with satsangs and darshans from numerous masters, I came into contact with another saint not far from where Ramana Maharshi lived (Arunachala, South India). His name was Vallalar, and he seemed to have transcended the state of full self-realization, entering a state he called Jnana Deham. This state, known in Buddhism as the Rainbow Body, essentially involves dissolving into light. Vallalar’s darshan was said to be so powerful that looking into his eyes could bring someone into samadhi for weeks.

Inspired by Vallalar, I shifted my practice to emulate his meditation techniques, which were detailed in the book ThiruArutpa. In essence, it involves kriya yoga in front of a mirror—a highly effective and rapid method!

Ramalinga Vallalar

Ramalinga Vallalar

Vallalar mirror reflection

Me in the early days when I was using the actual mirror Vallalar used for 15 years. This mirror is located in North Chennai. The image above shows a reflection of the mirror Vallalar used.

I practiced this for eight straight years, almost six hours daily, in addition to my spare time spent on dikshas, tantra, darshans, and satsangs.

During this time, I continued my research and discovered that Vallalar was not alone in reaching such a high spiritual level. Many masters, such as Mahavir, Murugan, Jesus, Guru Rinpoche, and Babaji, have also attained this state.

Knowing that the Rainbow Body or Jnana Deham is the highest state attainable in spirituality, it became a reference point for me in searching for faster and more effective paths to achieve it. Good research also involves attempting to disprove your ideas. However, after over 20 years of deep research worldwide, my findings only reinforced this belief. The Rainbow Body, or *Jalu Powa Chenpo* in Tibetan Buddhism, remains the highest spiritual state achievable on the planet.

With this understanding, the "top 10" methods became visible. My next step was to study the techniques these masters used and identify similarities. Quickly, Tögal from Dzogchen Buddhism emerged as the most complete package, with numerous practitioners achieving this state. Remarkably, every five years or so, a Dzogchen master still attains the Rainbow Body. All the methods from the different masters who reached this level showed striking similarities.

I was initiated into Dzogchen Buddhism by Tsoknyi Rinpoche, who gave me the name Mingyur Yeshe. Tögal, in my view, is the most comprehensive method, incorporating Vallalar’s techniques and those of other Rainbow Masters.

Over the years of practicing Tögal meditation, occasionally mixing it with Vallalar’s mirror technique and tantra (as these two are missing in Tögal), I developed the ability to sense emptiness in others. Essentially, this allowed me to discern whether ego remained and how much karma or trauma persisted. It is akin to observing whether a glass of water is clear or murky. I also gained the ability to dissolve karma, trauma, and stress in others, returning them to their original pure state—silent, empty, free from ego, and merged with life. This is the essence of Satsang: *Sat* meaning silence or stillness, and *Sang* meaning being in the company of someone who facilitates this state.

This ability marked the beginning of satsangs and darshans at our place in the Netherlands and the creation of this website. It also greatly expanded my research into the "top 10" methods for spiritual growth. Satsangs and darshans proved powerful and fast for dissolving ego and karma, though their effectiveness depends on the giver. Many powerful masters, such as the 17th Karmapa, Bhagavan, Braco, and Mother Meera, have too many followers, making personal darshans almost impossible. This inspired me to create a webpage listing living masters I consider genuinely helpful, enabling others to find guidance more easily.

The topic of Kundalini ran parallel to this research. At times, it merged with my practices, while at others, it remained distinct, as with shaktipat and tantra. Kundalini is like a candle that burns away karma. Once ignited through shaktipat, tantra, or a powerful darshan, it cannot be extinguished, continuously burning and cleansing 24 hours a day. This can be overwhelming if you are unprepared. While Kundalini can awaken and develop gradually, engaging with the top 10 methods truly awakens it. Once fully active, your life changes irreversibly, as it propels you on an intense and rapid purification path, not always pleasant.

A full Kundalini awakening is unavoidable at a certain stage, so preparation is crucial. For me, it lasted an entire year, even after 20 years of deep meditation and achieving self-realization. The Kundalini energy was so intense that I could barely sleep, experiencing full-body sensations every few minutes while every remaining bit of karma surfaced. It felt like being on ten cups of coffee daily, though I do not consume caffeine. This experience pushed me to confront and accept death. For some, this process lasts one to two years, or longer. Those who complete it exhibit a visible emptiness that others do not.

Tantra is the most powerful single technique for awakening Kundalini, but it is also one of the most challenging paths in the top 10 list. Tantric Kriya Yoga is incredibly potent, but sadly, most spiritual movements involving sexual energy are condemned or suppressed. Christianity and most Indian spiritual movements have completely rejected it.

Why is it so difficult? Being completely open with sexual energy for spiritual growth often encounters embarrassment, desire, lust, or judgment. The good news is that Vallalar attained the highest state without tantra, although he was an exception. Similar paths, such as using plant medicines like Ayahuasca, Psilocybe, Amanita, or Peyote, have also faced rejection. Many religions initially embraced plant medicines but abandoned them as they grew larger due to associated challenges.

This brings me to another spiritual movement:

the Bwiti

Some of the people I met in Gabon were so empty that even in Buddhism, I had never seen this depth. It completely flabbergasted me (fancy word for shocked). Naturally, I began researching who they were and what was happening. This led me to a small religion in Gabon called Bwiti. Holy cow—so many people fully enlightened, whom I had never heard of before, despite meeting spiritual practitioners worldwide.

I dedicated an entire separate webpage to this religion because it immediately moved to the number one spot on my top 10 list. Bwiti is simply out of this world. It is so effective that I dare say 20 years of self-inquiry meditation, tantra, kriya yoga, or Tögal pales in comparison to one full Dissumba Bwiti initiation.

That said, the initiation should not be taken lightly. It is extremely intense, will fully awaken the Kundalini, and can induce a Kundalini crisis lasting months if you are not well-prepared. However, like in ancient India, there is help available.

So, here is my list of the top 10 most effective and powerful spiritual paths and tools for full awakening and beyond.

This list took me 30 years to develop...

Mama Aline - Gabon

The Bwiti initiations from Gabon are by far the most effective path for Kundalini awakening and spiritual growth. It is the fastest method by far!

Combined with self-inquiry and kriya yoga, it is like fireworks.

There is an entire webpage dedicated to this extraordinary path.

2) Tögal

Tögal, also known as thodgal or thogal, is a practice within Tibetan Buddhism that helps practitioners achieve enlightenment, or "Buddhahood," by directly realizing the nature of their own mind. Tögal is a form of Dzogchen, a Tibetan Buddhist tradition emphasizing the practice of non-dual awareness. The techniques and methods are confidential.

The word "tögal" means "direct crossing" or "leapover" in Tibetan, referring to the goal of directly crossing over to the state of enlightenment without gradual stages of spiritual development.

Tögal is often described as a form of "visionary meditation" as it involves experiencing a series of inner visions and appearances. These visions arise spontaneously from the practice and are manifestations of the practitioner's own enlightened nature.

Tögal practice typically begins with "settling the mind" through techniques such as meditation, mantra recitation, or breathing exercises. Once the mind is calm and focused, the practitioner visualizes and focuses on specific objects, such as inner energy centers (chakras) or the "channels" and "winds" flowing through the body.

Part of the practice is similar to self-inquiry.

Self-inquiry

Self-inquiry

A whole separate webpage is dedicated to self-inquiry, highlighting its importance for self-realization and beyond. Click here

Self-inquiry may not be the fastest or most powerful tool for Kundalini awakening, but it is an absolute must! Without it, all other methods will eventually fail. All methods and techniques on this page should have self-inquiry at their core. Without it, you risk a Kundalini crisis or getting stuck in other spiritual practices. Self-inquiry guides Kundalini into the correct energetic pathways and rewires the brain towards full awakening and beyond.

There is a yoga branch focused on this type of meditation called Jnana Yoga. In Buddhism, it is known as Dzogchen Buddhism.

As Tögal practice deepens, practitioners may experience inner visions such as luminous spheres, rainbow lights, or various deities and symbols. These visions indicate progress in the practice and serve as gateways to deeper realization levels.

Ultimately, the goal of Tögal practice is to directly realize the nature of one's mind, understood as the nature of all things. This realization profoundly transforms the practitioner's consciousness, leading to lasting peace, happiness, and wisdom.

Beyond this are the states of the Rainbow Body. See the Soruba Samadhi website.

3) Vallalar

The Vallalar mirror meditation is one of the best combinations of Kriya Yoga (or Vaasi Yoga) and mirror-based practice.

In this practice, you perform Kriya Yoga in front of a mirror. When the mind is empty, self-inquiry can be incorporated to dissolve the ego further. Practicing in front of a mirror also engages the ego layer, adding depth to the Kriya Yoga or Vaasi Yoga experience. The mantra is omitted in this practice.

Vaasi Yoga

Vaasi Yoga focuses on the subtle inner breath (*vaasi*) and the channels (*nadi*) through which energy flows during the breathing process. As an advanced form of pranayama, it involves an inner breathing technique rather than nostril-based breathing. Vaasi Yoga is considered synonymous with or a part of Siddha Yoga, Kriya Yoga, or Gathagatham, and it is primarily practiced in South India.

4) Huichol Initiation

The Huichol people are an indigenous community living in the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range of Mexico. Their religion, known as the Huichol religion or Wirikuta, is deeply spiritual and shamanistic, emphasizing a strong connection to nature and the spiritual world.

Central to the Huichol religion is the use of peyote, a small cactus with psychoactive properties believed to facilitate communication with the spiritual realm. Peyote is consumed during ceremonies and rituals led by shamanic practitioners known as marakames. The marakames, highly respected members of the community, are believed to communicate with the spiritual world on behalf of others.

The Huichol religion also places significant importance on worshipping ancestors, deities, and spirits, which are thought to influence the natural world and individual lives. These beings are often depicted in intricate and colorful artwork, particularly yarn paintings. These paintings are created using wax, resin, and yarn to depict religious scenes and symbols.

Community is also a key aspect of the Huichol religion, with many ceremonies and rituals requiring the participation of the entire community. These events foster a sense of unity and purpose and are seen as vital opportunities to connect with the spiritual world.

In summary, the Huichol religion is a complex and deeply spiritual tradition that emphasizes a connection to nature, the spiritual world, and community. Its practices and beliefs center around the use of peyote, the worship of ancestors and spirits, and the creation of intricate and colorful artwork.

Peyote cactus in the wild

Peyote

Peyote is a small, spineless cactus that contains the psychoactive compound mescaline. It grows in parts of Mexico and the southwestern United States, particularly in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. Indigenous peoples have used the plant for religious and medicinal purposes for thousands of years.

The active ingredient, mescaline, is a hallucinogenic compound that induces altered states of consciousness, including visual and auditory hallucinations, changes in perceptions of time and space, and profound spiritual experiences. The effects of mescaline can last up to 12 hours, depending on the dose and individual metabolism.

Peyote is traditionally used as a sacrament in Native American Church ceremonies. In the United States, its use is legally protected as a sacred plant for many indigenous tribes. However, peyote use outside of religious contexts is illegal in many countries.

Peyote is typically consumed by chewing the dried or fresh button-shaped top of the cactus or brewing it into tea. During traditional ceremonies, peyote is consumed in a group setting, guided by a marakames.

Peyote contains a broad spectrum of alkaloids, making it one of the most unique and powerful cacti. It is regarded as the most energetic heart opener among cacti. However, Huachuma (Peruvian torch/San Pedro) and other mescaline-containing cacti should not be underestimated. The effects depend on the amount consumed, but they are guaranteed to open the heart.

Peyote’s energy is outward-focused, contrasting with Ayahuasca and self-inquiry practices, which are inward-focused. Kriya Yoga meditation or Rigpa meditation with pranayama is the perfect complement to peyote. Once the cactus takes over, surrender becomes inevitable, and control loses its meaning.

5) EoE

EoE - Era of Enlightenment

The most powerful tool to awaken and develop the Kundalini to date is the EoE pendants and systems from Era of Enlightenment. These small tools break through any barrier blocking the Kundalini from fully opening. They are highly potent and permanently energized. The energizing method takes up to a month in a specially designed crystal Kundalini generator, linking all the crystals to the Jeeva Samadhi's, Maha Samadhi's, Bwiti's, and the Rainbow Bodies referenced on this website. This linkage is permanent unless the pendant is melted or destroyed.

EoE introduced the first-generation Kundalini generator to Circle of Rotations in 2014, producing the MX2 products. By April 2016, EoE had developed the second-generation Kundalini generator and began producing their own products. For those who have experienced these tools, there is no doubt about their power. However, be aware that emotional baggage and karmic issues may surface for clearing. The pendant will not bypass your spiritual lessons, so be prepared for accelerated awakening.

6) Satsang & Darshan & Shaktipath

Mother Meera Darshan

Darshan (Mother Meera)

Darshans (sometimes called Drishti) from fully realized beings are incredibly powerful tools for awakening and developing the Kundalini. A deep darshan from a SatGuru can achieve more than ten years of daily yoga meditation in terms of awakening the Kundalini. However, very few people on the planet can deliver such profound darshans. Visit my Living Masters page to learn about those who can. I also offer individual sessions and plan to resume group satsangs and darshans in the future.

What is Darshan? Darshan is the act of looking directly into God's eyes.

What is Shaktipath? Shaktipath is the direct awakening of the Kundalini through a master who ignites it. While not as powerful as Darshan, it is still highly effective. Deeksha is a form of Shaktipath that prepares the path for eventual Kundalini awakening without directly initiating it. Satsangs indirectly develop the Kundalini, and their power depends on the master conducting them. Tantra is considered the most powerful form of Shaktipath, though it is a touchy subject in modern times.

7) Sami

Amanita Art Ceremony

Amanita Muscaria

Active ingredient: Muscimol.

This powerful, non-dual mushroom has been used by ancient Buddhists, Hindus, and Christians to ignite and develop Kundalini. Widely referenced in the Vedic scriptures as Soma, Amanita Muscaria has significant historical and cultural importance. It is believed to be the origin of Christmas and Santa Claus traditions, as reindeer love eating Amanita, and ancient shamans drank the reindeer’s urine to purify the Muscimol while eliminating ibotenic acid. Shamans often dried the mushrooms on pine trees to remove toxins, inspiring the concept of the Christmas tree.

Toxicity: Amanita Muscaria contains varying levels of muscarine, which can be toxic in high amounts. Studies (Stijve, 1980) found muscarine levels ranging from 0.005% to 0.011% dry weight in European specimens. A lethal dose of muscarine is estimated at 40-495 mg (Puschner, 2013), requiring nearly 500 grams of the strongest dried Amanita Muscaria for toxicity. However, consuming more than 30 grams induces a powerful, transformative experience long before reaching toxic levels. Additionally, nausea often prevents overconsumption.

Notably, there have been no documented fatalities from Amanita Muscaria poisoning in the past 100 years. The North American Mycological Association confirms no reliably documented cases of death due to these mushrooms during this period. Still, caution is advised due to potential respiratory risks.

Interestingly, muscarine may have neuroprotective effects. Research suggests it protects against DNA damage, oxidative stress, and mitochondrial impairment (Sarno et al., 2003), potentially preventing neuronal loss and neurodegenerative diseases.

For those seeking the spiritual and Kundalini benefits without muscarine-related risks, Amanita Pantherina is a safer option. Studies show muscarine levels in Amanita Pantherina samples are below 0.0005%, making it a preferred choice for many.

A Word of Caution

Do not engage in sports or muscle training for up to three days after using this mushroom. It can lead to injuries due to increased energy and power while reducing your awareness of strain.
Do not drive or operate any vehicle for at least 24 hours after consuming this mushroom.
Never consume more than three caps if you are experienced, and for first-time users, never more than one cap (7 grams max). Six grams of red Amanita is typically active, but potency can vary greatly.
Amanita Muscaria affects the entire body, particularly the nervous system, as it interacts directly with nerves unlike other plant medicines. Effects begin approximately one hour after consumption (do not take more if you think it’s not working yet) and can last up to 24 hours.

In modern times, it has been used by shamans of the Finno-Ugrian peoples (Ostyak and Vogul) in Western Siberia and the Sámi people in Lapland. However, only a few Sámi shamans remain.

Amanita Muscaria is among the most powerful Kundalini activators and developers, second only to Iboga. Traditionally, sun-dried mushrooms, powdered and mixed with reindeer milk (or goat milk) and blueberries, were consumed in ceremonies. Two dried caps (approximately 14 grams) can induce ego death and full awakening—but the experience is incredibly intense.

Research has shown that mixing dried Amanita with lemon juice enhances results, as the acidity converts ibotenic acid into muscimol.

Disclaimer: This is not a mushroom to experiment with lightly. Study extensively before considering its use. This website is intended to reveal ancient methods used for Kundalini awakening and spiritual elevation, not to encourage consumption. I am not responsible for any consumption-related issues.

A question I have often pondered is: Why were there so many great masters in the past, like Jesus and the Siddhars, despite the smaller global population? Today, with 7 billion people, where are all the great masters?

Religion, in my opinion, has suppressed these practices. The repression of sexual energy for spiritual growth, along with the prohibition of mushrooms and similar tools, has stifled spiritual advancement. In 1620, the Spanish Inquisition, a powerful branch of the Catholic Church, outlawed the use of peyote. Similar actions occurred with Amanita and other spiritual tools.

Even the subject of Kundalini is demonized by some Christian perspectives. For example, see this article.

No more spiritual sex, no more psychedelics, and no more Kundalini meditation—that seems to be the result.

Take a look at the small Church of Saint-Martin de Vic in central France.

During the Last Supper, Jesus transmitted his most important teaching: the Eucharist ritual. It represents the ultimate transmission of knowledge from Jesus to his disciples, during which they ate “bread and wine” as his “body and blood.” As described: “And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’”

The word “bread” is literally translated from “manna” in this text. In my opinion, “manna” is more likely Amanita Muscaria rather than bread. Drinking the “blood” aligns with the preparation of boiled Amanita, which removes ibotenic acid to make it more comfortable for consumption with reduced nausea.

The Sámi people, who have been suppressed for over 500 years due to their use of Amanita Muscaria, are among the few tribes left with full knowledge of this mushroom. Some, like Jari Rorn and Svonni, openly advocate for their traditions, while others, like Tatiana and tribal members in Russia, keep this knowledge hidden due to ongoing oppression. This oppression often traces back to the Catholic Church; you are encouraged to conduct your own research if interested.

Amanita Muscaria contains several bioactive compounds. Below are three key components:

Amavadin molecule

Amavadin

Muscarine molecule

Muscarine

Ibotenic acid molecule

Ibotenic Acid

Active Ingredients in Amanita Muscaria

Muscimol: Muscimol binds to GABA receptors as an agonist, blocking neuronal and glial uptake of GABA. This results in increased serotonin and acetylcholine levels while lowering norepinephrine. Its effects are most pronounced in the cortex, hippocampus, and cerebellum, making it more effective and spiritual compared to substances like Wormwood. Additionally, mannitol in Amanita Muscaria enhances the transport of muscimol into the brain, increasing its hallucinogenic activity (Maciejczyk & Kafarski, 2013).

Ibotenic Acid: Ibotenic acid (up to 0.2% of the mushroom) is a neurotoxin and a prodrug for muscimol. Drying converts 10–20% of ibotenic acid into muscimol, which is why dried mushrooms are preferred for tinctures or direct consumption. Adding lemon juice further reduces ibotenic acid levels during preparation.

Amavadin: Amanita Muscaria contains Amavadin, a molecule centered on vanadium. If the soil contains sufficient vanadium, the mushroom can accumulate up to 300 mg/kg. While vanadium in small amounts (less than 1.8 mg/day) is considered likely safe for adults, excessive doses may cause abdominal discomfort, nausea, and other side effects. The Sámi people traditionally consume 1–4 dried caps per ceremony, with 4 caps reserved for experienced individuals.

Let’s explore the main psychoactive ingredient:

Muscimol molecule

Muscimol

Dopamine neurotransmitter

Dopamine

GABA neurotransmitter

GABA

Serotonin molecule

Serotonin

Muscimol is the primary ingredient responsible for Amanita Muscaria’s spiritual benefits, with Muscazone as a secondary component. Both are potent GABA agonists, activating the brain’s principal inhibitory neurotransmitter, GABA. Muscimol binds to GABA receptors in regions such as the cerebral cortex, hippocampus, and cerebellum, altering neuronal activity. Its unique action as a GABA agonist across multiple receptor subtypes accounts for its wide-ranging effects.

Interestingly, muscimol's structure shares similarities with dopamine (male energy, as in San Pedro and Peyote) and serotonin (female energy, as in Ayahuasca). This duality places Amanita Muscaria in the non-dual realm, integrating male and female energies, unlike other plant medicines, which operate in duality. Non-duality allows Amanita Muscaria and Iboga to transcend ego and foster deep spiritual awakening.

Spring and summer mushrooms have been reported to contain up to 10 times more ibotenic acid and muscimol than autumn fruitings. It is said that 15 whole fresh mushrooms from spring can be deadly (although consuming more than 4 caps is generally impossible for most). However, most mushrooms available for sale are harvested in the fall, primarily in Lithuania, and are dried. As a side note, drying may increase potency by facilitating the conversion of ibotenic acid to the more potent muscimol. In Russia, it is customary to harvest only mushrooms that grow alone, as smaller mushrooms are believed to be stronger.

In an EEG test involving rabbits, muscimol produced a distinctly synchronized EEG tracing, unlike serotonergic psychedelics (commonly found in other magic mushrooms), which typically display de-synchronized brainwave patterns. At higher doses (2 mg/kg via IV), muscimol causes characteristic spikes in the EEG.

Around 7 grams (1 cap), the experience with Amanita Muscaria may gradually dissolve a person’s sense of seriousness, dispelling anxiety. This is often followed by a perception of changes in size and warped senses of time and age, accompanied by a disoriented, drunken feeling. These effects are preparatory stages for the Kundalini spark, which typically occurs around 4 hours after ingestion. This spark manifests as intense heat and sweating, sometimes lasting for hours. When the Kundalini becomes active, it begins to cleanse old trauma and drama, often leading to catharsis. The experience concludes with a lasting sense of hunger, better sleep quality, and a need for more rest.

At 28 grams (4 caps), similar to how the Sámi shamans traditionally used Amanita Muscaria, the experience becomes extreme. The mind undergoes a free-fall, looping thoughts, and a fully awakened Kundalini aimed at dissolving the ego. This type of ceremony should NEVER be done alone. Always have an experienced sitter present! The process can be frightening, as the ego often resists dissolution.

8) Tantra

Tantra nude kundalini awakening

Tantra can be a vast and complex subject, encompassing traditions like Vajrayana Buddhism and Japanese Shinto. At its core, tantra focuses on channeling sexual energy through the body to clear energetic blockages, enabling the Kundalini to flow freely. Unfortunately, when tantra was introduced to the West, figures like Pierre Bernard removed the Kundalini and spiritual aspects, reducing it to mere sexuality. This is regrettable because tantra is one of the most effective methods for developing Kundalini energy. Practiced correctly, tantra can peel away layers of the mind daily, revealing your true self. One of the most effective tantric paths is Tantric Kriya Yoga from Babaji.

With proper guidance (preferably from a good teacher), Kundalini can be awakened in a single tantra session. Tantra is most effective when combined with techniques like pranayama and self-inquiry (Trekchod is an excellent complement). Combining tantra with Kundalini yoga or nude yoga further enhances its effects by merging sexual energy with yoga postures. However, challenges such as lust or embarrassment may arise, potentially hindering progress.

Nude Yoga

Nude Yoga

Why practice nude yoga instead of traditional yoga? Nude yoga activates Kundalini energy more effectively by combining elements of tantra with yoga. It’s essential to overcome societal hang-ups about nudity—your body doesn’t have to be perfect, and nudity is not inherently sexual. It is about freedom and connecting with your natural state, just like any other life form on Earth.

Unfortunately, modern society is charged with negativity around sexual energies and plant medicines, overshadowing their profound spiritual benefits. Avoiding both, without meditating 20 hours a day, makes spiritual enlightenment unattainable. While darshans and self-inquiry can lead to self-realization, reaching higher spiritual levels often requires overcoming such resistances.

A good starting point could be the Elaisawellness center in Belgium, a spiritual sauna complex featuring crystals, Temazcal, and a clothing-free environment. For those uncomfortable with public settings, start privately by preparing your space as described by Osho, and gradually work through feelings of embarrassment.

While Epimedium, Montanoa, Bangalala, Mulondo, Huanarpo, and Catuaba are known for enhancing libido, they can create dependency. Use them sparingly unless addressing specific issues.

Jing, Qi (Yin/Yang), and Shen Herbs

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Jing, Qi, and Shen represent the "Three Treasures" of Sanbao, foundational to practices like Neidan, Qigong, and T'ai Chi. They symbolize essence, life force, and spirit:

Jing naturally transforms into Qi, Qi naturally transforms into Shen, and Shen naturally transforms into pure openness (oneness), uniting with the cosmic space.”
- Master Li, The Book of Balance and Harmony

- Jing: Builds Kundalini energy.
- Qi: Facilitates the flow of energy.
- Shen: Represents the light produced through this process.

Adaptogenic Herbs

Adaptogenic herbs fuel the Kundalini process, often found in libido-enhancing supplements due to their ability to relight tantric energy. They support stress adaptation (physical, chemical, biological, emotional/mental) by lowering cortisol and boosting energy reserves. However, overuse may overstimulate Kundalini energy, causing sinus issues like blocked nostrils. Use herbs like Eyebright to calm the sinuses if necessary.

Less Known Herbs

Huanarpo Macho: Blocks alpha-adrenergic receptors, enhancing sexual performance, reducing premature ejaculation, and potentially increasing testosterone levels.

Typhana Capensis (Bangalala): Known as "Love Reed," this powerful aphrodisiac has been used in South Africa for centuries to boost sexual potency and energy. Its phytosteroids may enhance androgen levels, influencing sexual behavior and erections.

New Kundalini medicine from Brazilian wandering spider

Brazilian Wandering Spider Extract

A potent tantra substance, PNTx2-6, is derived from the venom of the Phoneutria Nigriventer. The company Biozeus has removed its toxic effects, creating a peptide called BZ371A, expected to be available in 2025.

Avoid These Herbs

3,4-Divanillyltetrahydrofuran, Bulbine Natalensis, Fadogia Agrestis, Xanthoparmelia Scabrosa: These herbs are not healthy and should be avoided.

9) Rebirth

Rebirthing and Holotropic breathing are extremely powerful methods to awaken and develop the Kundalini. They can be as impactful as San Pedro, jump-starting the Kundalini or clearing the pathways for a safe awakening. Kapalbhati, or the "breath of fire," is another effective pranayama for Kundalini development.

The most potent pranayama is Kumbhaka, or similar breath retention techniques found in Togal (Dzogchen Buddhism). These techniques pull the Kundalini upward and ignite its fire. However, be cautious of the dark side of such practices, as seen in erotic asphyxiation. Stay away from unsafe practices, but recognize the immense power of this breathwork.

10) Plant Medicine

Plant medicine: Ayahuasca, Bufo, Peyote, Amanita

Plant medicines like Ayahuasca, San Pedro, Psilocybe, and Bufo (technically not a plant) are effective spiritual tools. While they do not directly target the Kundalini or ego dissolution, many participants experience profound ego-death during ceremonies.
